I am so glad you are here!  My name is Emma and everything about the birth process amazes me.  I am married to a loving and supportive husband and together we have three amazing children.  My passion for birth started during the pregnancy of my son. While on active duty in the Air Force, I got pregnant with my son and began the process of learning about birth.  My birth ended up being far from desirable, ending in a c-section, and I never wanted another woman to feel what I felt or not know her options.  I decided to dedicate myself fully to birth work.

I began teaching childbirth education and encapsulating placentas.  During that time I got pregnant with my daughter.  I knew this time around how important a birth support team truly was.  I was able to achieve a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) with my daughter, thanks to an amazing midwife, doula, and husband.  I also did a semi lotus birth with the placenta, which really brought out my passion for the placenta and the encapsulation process.  I then went on to have an all natural second VBAC with my youngest daughter, which only confirmed my love for birth more.

I was so uplifted with my birth experiences and  incredibly happy with the benefits of consuming all of my placentas, that I quit my corporate job and decided to become a full time birth worker.  It was a calling that I just could not shake and so I decided to jump right in.  I wanted to share my experience and help others. As my skills have grown, I have been able to train and now attend home births as a midwife's assistant.  My passion is to help support women to find their inner strength and to become empowered by their births and postpartum health.
